We love being able to share our raw jersey milk with customers! Our farm has three jersey cows who are our family milk cows. Together, they feed our family, allow us to produce 100% of our own dairy, feed calves, pigs, chickens, and fertilize our gardens. Their lactations are staggered, allowing us to have two cows in milk at a time, year around. We sell about half of what they give us which helps to pay their feed bills. Needless to say, we are a very small operation. Please read through our milk reservation policies which will help us run things more smoothly.

Milk Jars & Lids
Milk is bottled in sterilized glass jars with a plastic lid and state required label. We are passionate about storing milk in glass jars as they are easier to clean, sterilize, and better for the environment. We understand that jars can break or be forgotten at home. Please understand that it is very expensive and time consuming to track down missing jars and lids. Having to constantly purchasing replacements is time consuming and financially draining. I use anywhere between 10 – 25 jars and lids per day, depending on my cows’ production. Because of this, our farm is moving away from jar and lid deposits.
As of January 23, 2025, we will no longer be accepting jar deposits. Your first purchase of milk will include a $5.00 per jar glass fee, per each jar of milk you purchase. This is non-refundable, so if you forget your jars, please understand that you will purchase an additional jar from me at pickup for each jar that has been forgotten. Returning the lids with their labels is equally important. If the lids are lost or not returned, a $2.00 non-refundable fee will be added onto the charge for milk to cover the cost of the lid. I have this listed in my reminder e-mails as well to help prevent forgotten jars.
24 Hour Cancellation Policy
If you cannot make it to your pickup appointment, that is okay! We just ask that you please follow our cancellation policy below. It helps keep things running smoothly.
We require a 24-hour cancellation notice prior to the scheduled pick-up time. No-shows will be required to pay for their order before they will be permitted to order again.
Most of the time I have customers on a waitlist, and last-minute cancellations means another customer misses out.
We understand that emergencies come up and are willing to work with you if you are inside the 24-hour window. Please reach out to Jenny directly (515-525-8694) if you have an emergency come up. Please understand that repeated last-minute cancellations will result in being asked to pre-pay when ordering.
We greatly appreciate our customers and potential customers taking the time to read through our milk reservation policies.
