Farm Fresh Eggs

Our eggs are sold by the dozen for $5.00.  They come from our Leghorns, Orpingtons, Americaunas, Marans, and more.  We feed our chickens a specialized layer feed, along with milk, whey, suit and table scraps.  They also find food in our yard or pasture.  This keeps them happy, healthy, and occupied. 

After the grass comes in and the cows are able to graze on fresh grass again, the chickens will follow the cows.  In an effort to contribute to helping the environment, we focus on rotational grazing.  This is better for the animals, better for the environment, and better for us.  Once the cows have moved on from the pasture section they are in, the chickens will come in several days later.  There, they break down cow patties, eating bugs and larvae.
